Society 'Webshop'.
Raise funds for The Grove and Rawdon Theatre Company by doing absolutely nothing!
Do you shop online? If so, you could be helping raise money for the society and it won't cost you a penny!
Companies such as HMV, Tesco, Waterstones, Carphone Warehouse, Amazon and over 150 other well known stores have teamed up with a website called buy.at to help raise money for charities and organisations.
Here's how it works...
When you want to buy something online, instead of going directly to the store's website, you instead go to
www.buy.at/groveandrawdon
This webpage has links to over 150 companies, all you do is locate the company you want, for example the Marks and Spencer website, and click on the link. You are then taken to the company's website as if you'd gone there directly, you then continue to shop as normal...and that's it!
The clever bit is that the Marks and Spencer (or whichever company) website knows that you got to it through the buy.at website, and so it donates some money (normally a percentage of the amount you spent) to buy.at for the additional business passed its way, in return buy.at then sends a percentage of that money onto the society!
There are no catches, there are no hidden costs or personal details taken or forms to fill in, all you need to do is ensure that you link to the store you want to buy from using the www.buy.at/groveandrawdon website.
It really is that simple, and doesn't cost you a penny in money or effort and you can help make the society's future productions even more spectacular!
